Andre Upshaw, a suspected gang member, was taken into custody Monday by police who found him at a courthouse waiting to appear before a judge on a drug charge. Police say Upshaw was in a black truck when he drove by and shot each of the three victims in Echo Park and Glassell Park on Sunday. Thirty-eight-year-old Eric Zamarripa was the first person to be killed. The second was identified as 37-year-old Carlos Gonzalez. The third man, in his 30s, was taken to a hospital. Upshaw was booked for investigation of murder and held on $1 million bail
